Designed by Aldo Brovarone 1953, and bodied by Pininfarina in 1953-54 in request of the Rome dealer Guglielmo Dei, only four A6GCS units were built, considered the most beautiful Maserati of all times.

Officially developed to race in the 1954 Mille Miglia as a coupé to protect the driver after the torrential rain of the previous year, it was finally dismissed due to the high temperatures that reached the tiny cabin. However it was used in short races by private drivers. It incorporated a two-liter six-cylinder inline engine that developed 170 hp and an impressive 240 km/h of top speed.

In Modelant we wanted to pay tribute to the driver Anna Maria Peduzzi, nicknamed The Marocchina for her tanned skin and considered one of the best woman-driver of her era, placing her in the street version of the 2070 chassis with a body originally manufactured Spyder Fantuzzi which owned.

For our 1/32 scale replica we have followed our traditional philosophy of starting from scratch, using images, dimensions and color charts, keeping the scale, proportions and details of the original model as strictly as possible, and always in a totally handmade and manual way.

In this way the reproduction and manufacturing of the Maserati, together with the delays of the suppliers, has taken us more than a year, from the beginning of the project in October 2015 until its launch in January 2017.

A particularly difficult challenge has been to detail the cockpit in that smallest space. Two-color dashboard with "Jaeger" clocks, imitation wood steering wheel, gearshift, red doors and seats, fuel tube, ventilation grilles, rear view mirror and above all a complete replica of the driver, with her leader bag.

The chassis is also tailor-made in high quality resin, to which the engine mount, guide and axles have been screwed. Each unit has been individually runned to ensure correct performance. Safe and reliable with magnet, and smooth and docile for those who prefer to drive without magnetic effect.

It is already one of our signs the presentation in wooden box. For this occasion, we resorted to an open oak-finished box with glass windows to serve as an exhibitor, and to refine the presentation, we created a resin diorama inspired by the streets of cobblestones of the time and in which we have incorporated a lamp with a led that works with a switch and a battery already included.

Production will be limited to 150 numbered units and is available from now, at a price of 170 euros (shipping not included).
